Bingo is a game that has been around for ages. It’s played in many countries, with different variations and rules. Bingo in Korea is a really exciting way to spend an evening with friends or family members! We’ll take you on a tour of the bingo hall, where you can see all the different games available and how they’re set up.
Bingo in Korea is played with a bingo card, which has around 25 spaces. Except for the last space, all of them have numbers on them. The players each get five balls to throw at their cards from across the room. When they hit one of the marked numbers and color (either red or black), it gets covered up so that no other ball can land on it again. If you’re lucky enough to cover every number on your card in one go, shout “bingo” as loud as you can!
In Korean Bingo halls, there are usually two different types of games available: electronic and manual ones:
- In an electronic game, you’ll be given a card that is placed on the machine. If it’s your turn, press one of the numbers and then throw your ball at the board from where you’re standing (you can’t walk around).
- In manual games, people do everything by hand – this means they have to call their own number when it’s their turn! They will also need to use something like tongs or tweezers to remove balls from where they land so other players do not cover them up again.
